NEW YORK STYLE TRENDS 2014

New York Fashion Week 2014 flew in and out delivering some of the most amazing catwalks from the world’s leading designers.

Chic mid length dresses reigned supreme displaying both fitted and full bottoms reminiscent of the 1920s in elegance. This trend oozes absolute femininity.

Sheath silhouettes skimming the feminine form were predominantly a designer favourite this season.

Glamour and opulence were on absolute display.  Luxurious, totally sexy dresses, incredible furs and embellished sequence numbers were flying in by the numbers.

I have already tagged a few hot pieces to add to my collection.

Tulle, lace and sequence were some of the beautiful delicate fabrics seen throughout NYFW.

Bold, flamboyant patterns were made understated to illustrate their versatility to wear.

A bevy of colours were seen throughout, however I must say I am a fool for blue and was so happy to see blue and white as the front runner in the palettes.

I love that the garments took centre stage without being over worked with jewellery, make-up and hair.

Some of my favourite trends are below. For this that know me, know I am in my element.
